Delicious Lighting

Join food photographer Kyle Dreier and Chef John Stephenson at Fido for the "Delicious Lighting" workshop. The evening will include food from Fido's best kept secret kitchen for your enjoyment while you participate in this hands-on evening of photographing food under the instruction of Kyle Dreier. He'll cover natural lighting, hot lights and strobes. You'll learn what Kyle's "9 to 3 o'clock" lighting technique really means and how it can make almost any food look appetizing. Come ready to shoot, eat and learn.

We had this class on January 13, 2011 and it was a blast. See for yourself. Chef John and his crew kept everyone happy with some wonderful food and Kyle jammed about 8 hours of content into 2 hours of tricks, tips and techniques for successful food photography lighting. We will do this class again but the date is yet to be determined.

My Stupid Camera™

Are you frustrated with the results you're getting from your camera? Whether you're using a camera phone, a point-and-shoot, or a digital SLR you've likely said "my stupid camera".

On March 10, 2011 we had a sold out class where participants enjoyed culinary creations by Chef John Stephenson at Fido and participated in a hands-on evening of photographing food under the instruction of Kyle Dreier. See the fun you missed here.
